Scene

Updated on Oct 11, 2025

What Is the “Scene” Feature?

The Scene feature allows you to set up automation in your smart home system — enabling multiple devices to work together under a single command or condition.
When you activate a scene (for example, “Home Mode” or “Holiday Lights Mode”), the App automatically performs a series of preset actions across your devices.
Examples:
When you arrive home → outdoor lights turn on + music starts playing + indoor lights change to warm white.
When you leave home → all lights automatically turn off.
When you say “Activate Holiday Mode” → multiple lights start dynamic festive lighting effects.

How It Works in the ASAHOM App

Currently, the ASAHOM App mainly supports the Permanent Outdoor Lights series.
If you only own these products, multi-device automation may not yet be available — however, you can still create basic scenes such as:
1. One-Tap Control for Multiple Devices
If you have several ASAHOM controllers (for example, in different areas),
you can create a “Turn All On” or “Turn All Off” scene to control them at once.
2. Integration with Tuya-Compatible Devices
The ASAHOM App supports some Tuya smart devices.
If you also own Tuya-compatible devices (such as smart plugs or sensors),
you can set up interactive scenes like:
When a door sensor detects the door opening → the outdoor lights automatically turn on.
At sunset → the outdoor lights turn on automatically.
